Bank Draft
Bank Draft is a service provided by BTU that enables our customers, whether they
have a commercial or residential account, to have their monthly bill drafted straight
from their checking account.
Bank Draft can be initiated or canceled by the customer at any time regardless of
when the account was originally started.
Bank Draft is advantageous in many ways such as:
- SAVES TIME
- SAVES POSTAGE
- SAVES CHECKING ACCOUNT FEES
- SAVES GAS
- INSURES A GOOD CREDIT HISTORY
Any time a bank draft is returned due to non-sufficient funds or any other reason,
it will be treated as a returned check. The draft will be charged back to the account
along with a return check fee of $25.00. A letter will be mailed and 10-15 days
will be given in which to pay.
The requirements for bank draft are as follows:
- The customer must complete and return a
Bank Draft Authorization Form (Adobe Acrobat Reader is required).
- The customer must include a VOIDED CHECK with the bank draft authorization form.
Deposit slips are NOT acceptable!
