In conjunction with Texas Co-op Power magazine, BTU invited high school students to compete for $4,000 in cash prizes by creating an original, short video about renewable energy.
“Co-op Teens Power Texas” is a statewide competition open to high school students residing with a parent or legal guardian in a household served by an electric cooperative. Participating students, either working alone or in a group, will create a one- to three-minute video providing information about a developing area of renewable energy.
We are proud to announce that Timothy Jones, son of Bryan Texas Utilities members Jim and Anne Jones, has won the $1,500 grand prize in the Co-op Teens Power Texas Video Contest with his unique video, “Renergy 2010.”
