This is your chance to get a firsthand look at how government works. You'll meet with elected officials, tour government facilities, and participate in simulations that will give you a real-world understanding of the political process.

Eligibility
Three local high school students will be chosen as winners for the trip. To be eligible students must be a sophomore, junior, or senior in high school and either live in or attend school in the BTU service territory. Candidates will be judged on their responses to an essay question, their extracurricular activities, and academic and civic leadership.
How to Apply
The application process is simple. Just complete the online application form and submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher. Applications are due February 3, 2025.
