If you received a flyer and/or text from BTU, contractors will soon need access to your property for necessary safety inspections.

BTU has contracted with Davey Resource Group to inspect, treat, and restore utility poles on or near your property. This work aims to extend the useful life of electrical infrastructure by improving safety and reliability.

As part of BTU's on-going utility pole maintenance program, crews from Davey Resource Group (DRG) will soon conduct inspections and testing of approximately 6000 of BTU's utility poles. This routine maintenance work is required so that BTU can assess the strength of utility poles in an effort to ensure continued safety and electric service reliability. In some cases, treatment may be necessary to extend the life of a pole.

The work is scheduled to be conducted between the months of January-March 2026.
