What many visitors may not know is that the magical ice blocks that bring this attraction to life are crafted by a longtime Bryan Texas Utilities’ customer: Flying Penguin Ice. From their facilities in Bryan, this specialized ice manufacturer has been adding color—and holiday cheer—to Ice Land for more than a decade.
Bryan Texas Utilities (BTU) is set to embark on a new chapter with the relocation of its administrative headquarters. The utility company is moving to a modern, 39,242 square-foot, two-story building situated on a 4-acre site adjacent to the Bryan Regional Athletic Complex. Located at 2611 N. Earl Rudder Fwy, Bryan, TX 77803, the building will open to the public on Monday, February 10, 2025. This strategic move will allow BTU to better serve the growing needs of the community and position itself for future expansion.
